American International Group (AIG)

SAY Studio designed the new AIG (American International Group) offices in Dubai’s Financial Centre using a cool palette with a backdrop of charcoals, timber and concrete. Large windows allow plenty of light to flood the open plan workspaces with clever architectural partitioning, and acoustic baffles subdividing the area into smaller activity zones and a reception.

A predominantly monochromatic background is speckled with occasional pops of primary colour in striking blue and yellow in the furniture and accessories, adding an element of surprise to the interior. The project was contracted to Summertown, who are known for their extremely high green building standards, and project managed by Compass, both companies A listers in the interior construction industry while Acoulite supplied the lighting and Acoustics.
