An ultra-contemporary bar and restaurant concept and proud winner of the 2014 ME Interior Design Award for 'Best Restaurant Design'

Overview

An ultra-contemporary bar and restaurant concept and proud winner of the 2014 ME Interior Design Award for ‘Best Restaurant Design’, Acoulite were proud once again to be associated with such a winning team. Along with world acclaimed designer, Noriyoshi Muramatsu from Studio Glitt in Japan (http://glitt.jp) and Elmar Pichorner, COO of Jas Hospitality (http://thejasgroup.com), Acoulite successfully designed and supplied this stunning destination restaurant.

The venue

Located in the Landmark Fort complex at Wafi in the iconic building that once housed the infamous Planet Hollywood, the space has now been miraculously transformed into a sophisticated arabesque dining experience; where dining, lounge and bar concepts seamlessly merge into a tantalizing culinary experience complete with a light show to mesmerize the lounge bar customers with flaming swinging torches and books that open and close in front of your eyes.

The result

This stunning double height space features reclaimed wooden carved doors and floating carpets that soften this 13,000-sq. ft. restaurant and allow the 300 dinners a surprisingly calm discreet experience.

Qbara has successfully created a space that echoes Dubai culture, where diners from all over the world can come together to celebrate the Arabic meets Asia meets Europe sensation.
