Acoulite were delighted to be invited by Gensler (http://www.gensler.com) Abu Dhabi to assist in the lighting design of the Corporate HQ of Wafra Real Estate in Kuwait. Our brief included carrying out the lux calculations along with the specification sheets inclusive of CAD drawings; ensuring all lighting solutions met with the current European standard requirements.

The major design challenge was to fit the luminaires into the existing metal ceiling. This presented a challenge as the metal ceiling was not originally designed with this spec in mind. In order to overcome the challenge, the contractor created a mockup of how the fitting would be appear once installed and this was then submitted to the client and design team for approval

Acoulite was responsible for all calculations of all 5 floors at the Twin Towers in Kuwait. These were achieved in tandem with a premium European manufacturer. We also updated the reflected ceiling plan (RCP) and provided the necessary specification sheets while simultaneously being involved with single source procurement on behalf of the contractor. Once on-site delivery of the products was made, we provided technical assistance to ensure a quality installation finish.
