NOZOMI – Al Khobar
Founded in Knightsbridge, London, in 2004 by Marios George, NOZOMI has become a globally recognized culinary institution. Partnering with Cavadore Group and Al Moajil Hospitality, NOZOMI has now established itself in Al Khobar, KSA.
Acoulite, in collaboration with Forsite Creative, was tasked with developing the lighting and controls scheme for the new NOZOMI restaurant. The goal was to create a unique and modern interpretation of traditional Japanese interiors while setting the restaurant apart as an atmospheric night venue.

The Solution:
Meticulous Preparation: Extensive research into luxury Japanese fine dining and architecture informed the lighting scheme. Acoulite explored different lighting tones to achieve the desired mood and atmosphere.
Redefining the Status Quo: The team used lighting to highlight natural materials, create continuity between indoor and outdoor spaces, and guide guests through the restaurant with carefully placed lighting elements. Special attention was given to creating a smart dining experience with state-of-the-art lighting controls.
